விடுதலைப் புலிகளின் உறுப்பினர்களையும், பல மில்லியன் டாலர்கள் பெறுமதியான அவர்களது சொத்துக்களையும் தம்மிடம் கையளிக்குமாறு இலங்கை பாதுகாப்புத்துறைச் செயலர் கோட்டாபாய ராஜபக்ஷ வெளிநாடுகளை கேட்டுள்ளார்.
கைது செய்யப்பட்டு, தற்போது கொழும்பில் விசாரணைக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும், விடுதலைப்புலிகள் அமைப்பின் புதிய தலைவரான செல்வராசா பத்மநாதனின் கைதை அடுத்தே கோட்டபாய ராஜபக்ஷவின் இந்த கோரிக்கை வந்துள்ளது.
விடுதலைப்புலிகள் அமைப்பு பல மேற்கத்தைய நாடுகளில் தடைசெய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. பயங்கரவாதத்துக்கு எதிரான போரில் மேற்கு நாடுகள் சிரத்தையுடன் இருப்பது உண்மையானால், அவை விடுதலைப்புலிகள் அமைப்பின் எஞ்சியுள்ள உறுப்பினர்களை தம்மிடம் கையளிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் கேட்டிருக்கிறார்.

U don’t want LTTE.But u need their assets.It’s strange.Why don’t u introduce some political solutions for this problem which could make the country prosperous rather than targetting only money at any ways.

Now here comes the problem with that. During the war, instead of engaging in proper deplomacy, these people in Sri Lanka was very disrespectful and treated those diplomats in the west like completel trash. They directect people to throw stone at their embassies and do many things. Now those same people in Sri Lanka expect those western countries to spend resources and effort to track down LTTE money and deliver it to Sri Lanka. These money must be hidden in various schemes and it is not like simply getting it from a bank. For that, these countries has to make a good effort as a help to Sri Lanka. My comment sense question is that why would you wants to extend a olive branch, go out of the way spending your own time and resources and help some someone, who has time and time shown complete disrespect and trash you in your face. Sri Lanka should have understood that after the war, they would have needed the help of these countries to dismantle LTTE network. This is a time even Sri Lankan govt. people are denied visa into many of these countries. Good luck asking them to help.

விடுதலைபுலிகளின் சொத்துக்கள் என்றால் என்ன? பிரபாகரன் இயக்கத்தில் சேரும்போது வீட்டிலிருந்து கொண்டுவந்த பரம்பரை சொத்துக்களா. இல்லையே. மக்களிடமிருந்து ஆயுதமுனையில் புடுங்கப்பட்ட பணத்தில் சேர்த்தவைதானே. அவை பிரபாகரனுக்கோ அல்லது புலிகள் இயக்கத்திற்கோ சொந்தமில்லாதபோது எப்படி அரசு அதில் உரிமைபாராட்ட முனைய முடியும்.
புலிகளின் அராஜகத்தால் பழிவாஙப்பட்டு விதவைகளாகவும் அநாதைகளாகவும் அவதியுடன் வாழும் அப்பாவி மக்களுக்கே இந்த சொத்துகள் நஷ்ட ஈடாக வழங்குவதற்கு மனச்சாட்சியும் மனிதாபிமானமும் உள்ள எவராவது முன்வரவேண்டும்.
அரசிடம் கொடுத்தால் அதிகாரிகள் ஒரே நாளில் அரைவாசியை அமைச்சுகளில் வைத்தே விழுங்கி விடுவார்கள். ஐ.நா.விடம் கொடுத்தால் ஆடம்பரமாக செலவுசெய்து அரசின்மேல் பழிபோடுவார்கள். எல்லாமே சிக்கல்தான். அப்படியென்றால் பூனைக்கு மணி கட்டுவது யார்??
