பம்பலப்பிட்டி கடற்கரையில் தமிழ் இளைஞர் தாக்கப்பட்ட சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள பொலிஸ் அதிகாரிகள் நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளனர் என பொலிஸ் மாஅதிபர் மஹிந்த பாலசூரிய தெரிவித்தார்.
இந்தச் சம்பவத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய மேலும் நான்கு பேர் சேவையிலிருந்து இடைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். மேற்படி தாக்குதல் சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக பொலிஸ் திணைக்களம் உச்ச சட்ட நடவடிக்கையை எடுத்துள்ளது.

A tensed situation developed at the Welikada Magazine prison this morning after a stone was lobbed towards one of the prison officials resulting in a clash between two groups of prisoners
News reaching here suggests that 3 inmates were killed and 15 are injured. God save them!!
